Martin Johnson, the village baker, has organised a First Aid Course at the village hall on the 24th February from 7:30 to 9:30. It will be given by the St Johns Ambulance Brigade and only costs £5. To book a place call in at Langton Bakery or call on 01892 864197
The Rural Society are holding their annual quiz in the village hall on the 25th February. Tickets are £8.50 per person and include a generous ploughman's supper and drinks are available from the licensed bar. Teams are limited to 8 but tickets can also be bought separately. This is being held for the 5th year at Heathfield Community Centre, TN21 0XG on Sat 28th April from 10:30 to 16:30. Admission is £2 which includes a free draw for a Therapy Voucher. There are treatment tasters from £5 and many unusual gifts and product stalls. Refreshments are available and there is a raffle for Demelza House. Musicalbumps has started classes in the Church hall on Thursday mornings. The 10:30 class is for age 1-4 and the 11:30 class is for babies up to a year old.
