Langton Green Village Fête

Saturday 3rd July 2010

 On the Green behind The Hare public house

 

For just £2 (children are FREE) you can have an enjoyable afternoon at Langton Green’s Village Fete, where the entertainment lasts from 12 noon to 5pm.

 

For youngsters of all ages we have:

  • Bouncy Dome and a Bouncy assault course
  • Stilt Walker and Human Statue
  • Face Painting
  • Swing Chairs and Cup and Saucer Ride
  • Ice cream
  • 20ft Slide
  • Yo Yo man
  • Toby Johns with his Ball Skills

 

For everyone else:

  • Prize draw raffle (featuring a £250 cash prize), Two £145 voucher for ‘Ventura’ photographic experience, a meal for 4 at The Hare,  family tickets to Groombridge Place and Penshurst  Place plus many many more prizes)
  • All comers Tug of War (bring suitable footwear just in case!)
  • Coconut Shy
  • Arena shows, including a Birds of Prey demonstration, a dog show, Tai Chi demonstrations and music from The Big BYG Band and the Recall Theatre Company
  • Stalls selling locally made cards, jewellery, preserves, books, children’s clothes and much more
  • Rotary Club Shelter Box

Plus of course, lots of great freshly cooked food, hog roast, BBQs, Curry, Tea tent and plenty of Pimms, beers and soft drinks to wash it down with.
