Village Hall

The Langton Green Village Hall now stands on the Recreation Ground and was opened on 16th November 2007. Previously the village had a village hall (The Watson Hall) and other buildings which were provided from 1895 by means of a charity founded by Miss Mary Watson (a relative of Lord Baden Powell the founder of the Scout movement). The Hall Comprises:

 

  • A large multi use Hall for Sport and Social Functions
  • A smaller Hall for use as a Nursery School and Committee Room
  • A large fully equipped Kitchen
  • A Snooker Room with a full size Snooker Table
